I wore my jewellery to lunch parties and, more often than not, ended up selling the necklace or bracelette I was wearing. People started asking me to restring their old beads and to create something new out of them.

The first necklaces were just strands of antique beads that I had bought and added some silver pieces to, but it was always sad to part with old beads. They have such a lovely lustre having been polished against the skin for a few hundred years. Subsequently I started using semiprecious stones, glass, seeds and anything decorative and interesting that caught my eye.I started selling them at craft fairs and had sponsored exhibitions around the world. Then, 4 years ago I opened a gallery in Bangkok, at River City.
